Maintain existing aesthetics with the benefits of turning your desk into an electric height adjustable desk at a more economical price. Installation

No power tools are required to assemble the desk frame, however power tools will be required to fix the desk to the frame. Check out our easy to follow installation video to set up your Zen Space Desk. Please be aware that you may need to reset your desk before use, instructions on how to do this can be found in our programming guide. FAQS

The simple answer is yes. As our goods are considered ‘awkward freight’ we require customers to inspect goods upon receiving and sign our shipping partners computer or paperwork to accept that the goods have been delivered in ‘GOOD ORDER AND CONDITION’. As sit stand desks are built from heavy materials, and are large, awkward sizes there is a greater chance of damage occurring. We will do our best to help in anyway possible should an item become damaged in transit, however are unable to claim damages from a freight provider if items have been signed for. If you are not sure, take a few photos and email them to sales@zenspacedesks.com.au before signing.

If you require an ‘Authority to Leave’, please contact us after placing your order and we can arrange. This is suitable for accessories and where there is a safe and dry place to leave items. We cannot however be responsible for damage or missing items when an authority to leave is authorized.

Should an item become damaged in freight, please take a few photos and email directly to orders@zenspacedesks.com.au or call us on (07) 3063 2143 and we’ll access the situation on a need by need basis. We will do everything to ensure this is taken care of swiftly and help where ever possible 🙂

Custom desks have a lead time of 20 working days, not inclusive of shipping time.

Pick-up is available for Brisbane customers only, our warehouse is open 8am to 4pm. No, you cannot ship a desk to a PO box. It must be shipped to a home or business address where it can be received or left in a safe location.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Are you seeing an error code on your hand controller or experiencing problems with your desk? Try a manual reset before starting a warranty claim.

What limitations are there when retrofitting a height adjustable desk to an existing desktop?

You’ll need to make sure that the desktop you’re working with isn’t part of a series of desktops which hold each other up. If the desk has a modesty panel you will need to establish whether the modesty panel holds the desk up or if it will be okay hung from your new sit-stand desk. Quite often it’s easy to add a few support brackets to ensure it’s suitable to be lifted. Please email sales@zenspacedesks.com.au and we’ll get back to you with recommendations.

Can the retrofit system be used with an existing partition divide?

Generally yes, as long as the desk isn’t interconnected with the divider. Any drawers or shelving above the desk may need to be removed which often un-clip from most generic screens

How does the retrofit system attach to the desktop?

We supply self-tapping screws which are suitable for most timber desktops. If you are fixing to any other material feel free to get in touch with us to discuss mounting options.

Can I fit this to a glass desktop?

Yes, however we recommend using only tempered glass as its up to 5x stronger than regular annealed glass. When ordering please leave a note in the comments section advising of your intentions and we’ll help you out with the best mounting options.
